We've heard it before, we sure you have to. Those questions. Doggy daycare? You take your dog to daycare? For years people have taken their children to daycare while they work. no question about it. Although it seems obvious that you would never leave a child home alone, sending your dog to daycare is new but there is really no difference...except they walk on 4 legs and not 2 ;) So is daycare for your dog? We honestly can't answer that until we meet your furry family member, but your pup will need to be dog friendly, spayed/nurtured in order to attend. If you do bring your pup to daycare, what s/he gets out of it is very similar to what you would expect to receive if it was your own child going to daycare! Why?? Just because your fur-baby walks on 4 legs and not 2 doesn't mean they deserve any less!
At Chapel Hill Pet Resort, our daycare facility provides every daycare dog with the freedom to play with other 2 and 4 legged friends during the day. This means that they are active, never bored and are able to get all of that energy out! For very active dogs, this is perfect as they spend their days with other pups so when you get home after a long day of work---they are ready to relax and cuddle with you! Daycare isn't just for active dogs though. It is a GREAT way to socialize your pup! Professional trainers are on staff and all workers are certified by Doggie Tails LLC. to introduce new daycare dogs to the mix and make sure that everyone is safe when a new pup joins in on the fun!
The earlier you introduce your dog to other dogs, the better they will be in social settings. Daycare also helps with the following: Relief from loneliness and separation anxiety, socialization with people, exercise, prevent your things from being chewed up by a bored pup, and a guilt free day for every pup's mom and dad!
Are you Feel guilty leaving your dog home all day or have plans for the day but won't be able to get home to let them out? They can come join the fun!! Doggy daycare can help you meet your dog’s needs for attention, activity and supervision. They provide a great antidote for bored, lonely or high-energy dogs with busy guardians who work away from home all day and don’t want to leave their dogs alone. Dogs have been traditionally bred for jobs. Such as hunting, herding, protection or guarding. But their main job today is Couch Potato! Boredom and excess energy are two common reasons for behavior problems in pet dogs.
We know how important to get all of our dogs out with their friends for the day, but we don't want them to get too burned out so during the 12-3 hours, our pups take a break. They are brought into our air conditioned facility and given a nice cold tasty treat. This is enough time to get in a quick nap and get back to playing again!
Are you interested in daycare but unsure that it is right for you or your dog? Are you worried that your dog may not do well with other dogs because they are protective of you? Do you have any other questions that we didn't answer here? Give us a call! (919) 904-7598. We are currently running a special until the end of the year where you can buy a whole month of daycare for only $289.00!
